Prior to founding Lexiam, Chokanan (Cho) had worked for major foreign law firms in Bangkok, Thailand for several years.
He has developed a broad-based practise in the country, including advising foreign investors, and Thai clients on foreign direct investment, corporate and M&A, joint venture, energy projects and real property.
He has extensive experience in emerging market jurisdictions, having advised clients on cross-border investments relating to energy and research and development projects, including projects in Thailand, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and China. Chokanan also led the in-house legal team of a major energy development firm in Thailand.
